10min walk from Angel tube & Essex Road overland stations. Corner of St Paul and Packington Street.

Parking restrictions: Mon- Fri until 6:30pm and Saturdays till 1:30pm.

Do I need to book?

For events at The Arc Centre booking is recommended as space is limited.

Tasters/ class pass/ concessions?

Some FREE tasters may be available. See individual event promotion. Booking required. Unless otherwise advertised, the following class offers are available at The Arc Centre

Class pass: 10 classes for £100 / 5 classes for £55 – valid for a year.

Clothes?

Please keep your body clothed throughout the dance. Wear loose comfortable clothes, with layers to regulate your temperature. Remove jewellery and watches as they may catch. We dance barefoot or in special dance shoes as dancing in socks can be slippery.

What do I need to bring?

Bring a reusable water bottle. A notebook and pen is optional. Bring some coins as donation if you would like to enjoy a tea after the dance.

Doors close when?

Please check individual events for times and when we close the doors. Please arrive on time and stay till the end.

Can I bring my child/ baby?

Dancers aged 16+ are welcome and need to be accompanied by an adult. Events specifically designed to include babies/children, will be advertised as such.

Safety & wellbeing?

Please take responsibility for your own emotional, physical and psychological wellbeing. Drink plenty of water during and after the session. Adapt your dance according to any injuries and physical limitations you may have. Stay aware of others and your surroundings. Have emotional support structures available if needed.

Talking in the dance space?

Please no chatting in the dance space, before and during the class. You can talk in the hallway. There may be specific points in the class where you will be asked to share. We ask that everything shared stays confidential. Please feel free to chat and ask questions at the end of the class.

Is it okay to drink alcohol before I come to dance?

No – this is an alcohol and drug free practice.
